About the Workshop
Explore the historical and modern aspects of Great Lakes shipping at Whitefish Point. This workshop is a unique opportunity to experience the rich history of Great Lakes shipping.
The goal of the workshop is the development of a pre/post- field trip activity guide for visiting K-12 students. Each workshop participant will be required to write one lesson that will become part of the activity guide for Whitefish Point Lighthouse & Shipwreck Museum for teachers and youth group leaders to use prior to, or after, visiting Whitefish Point and the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum. |
