World Year of Physics

Ask someone who the most famous physicist is and the answer will most probably be “Albert Einstein.” In 1905, Albert Einstein announced to the world his theories of relativity. His work has changed the face of science, particularly physics.

Physics impacts every aspect of life from the ordinary (like falling down the stairs) and the technical (like medical research) to the profound (like the study of black holes).

The World Year of Physics is a worldwide celebration of physics and its importance in our everyday lives.
