Stories in the Land Teaching Fellowships Deadline: June 2002; Amount: $1,000 Eligibility: Educators working with elementary or secondary students. Regular
meetings with the same group of students over a semester or year are required.
Toyshiba America Foundation
Amount: 75 grants of up of $1,000 each. Deadline: 5 PM EST, Monday, October 1, 2002
Grants are for the purpose of encouraging hands-on teaching of science and mathematics.
