The Water Festival is designed to: offer students engaging standards‐based experiences taught by Michigan Tech scientists, students, and community experts involved in Great Lakes and STEM career fields. Activities will span content areas and will provide hands‐on learning opportunities for students

Presenters include Michigan Tech faculty, staff, students, community organizations, government agencies, authors, artists, photographers, and more.

2014 Water Festival is made possible with funding from Michigan STEM Partnership, MTU Center for Water & Society, Earth Force, and the Great Lakes Stewardship Initiative. Coordinated by the Lake Superior Stewardship Initiative and hosted by Michigan Tech University.
