After School Classes: Totally Technology After-School Program for Grades 4 through 8

Totally Technology is a 6-week-long after-school program for students in grades 4-8 that is held at the Michigan Tech Great Lakes Research Center.

Students will use kid-friendly software designed by MIT researchers to learn Java programming basics to develop custom mobile apps for Android smartphones; download finished games to any Android phone or tablet to share with friends and family; explore electrical engineering using Sew Electric!-sewing and circuitry combined to create light-up stuffed animals; and design objects on a 3D printer.

*4 to 5:30 p.m., Mondays (grades 4-5) starting Jan. 27 and going until Mar. 3
*4 to 5:30 p.m., Thursdays (grades 6-8) starting Jan. 30 and going until Mar. 6
